What should I upload?Analyzer, Glossary, and Style Guide need a source file. Translation needs a source file and target language. Lingivo uses a positive score only when a higher number is better. Risk and difficulty are shown separately because higher values mean more caution.
Document AnalyzerRecommended translation route is the decision to follow: prepare the source first; AI-only for low-risk internal reference; AI translation plus bilingual human proofreading; human translation plus independent proofreading; or specialist human translation and sign-off. The decision uses your intended use with Translation workflow readiness, Production risk, Translation difficulty, content type, terminology, protected items, format/layout, locale-sensitive data, and extraction reliability. Workflow readiness shows how easily the source can enter the stated controlled route—it is not translation quality or permission to skip the route. Analysis confidence shows how strongly the available evidence supports the assessment.When does Lingivo recommend each translation route?Prepare source first stops production when extraction is weak or insufficient. AI-only is available only for low-risk, low-difficulty internal-reference use with strong extraction and analysis confidence; it must not be published or delivered. AI + human proofreading uses AI for the draft and requires a bilingual reviewer before use. Human translation + proofreading is used when risk or difficulty is high. Specialist human translation is used for critical, legal, medical, regulated, or contractual work and adds subject-matter sign-off. Every result lists the steps in order for the selected role.Document TranslationDraft Confidence combines segment coverage 35%, structural preservation 25%, approved terminology 15%, translation completion 15%, and provider/segment confidence 10%. A score of 90–100 is ready for LQA, 82–89 needs draft review first, and below 82 needs repair before LQA. It is not a linguistic-quality or delivery score.Linguistic QALQA Quality Score is weighted across the selected categories. Only located rule evidence and exact AI segment evidence at 80% confidence or higher can lower a category score; lower-confidence observations are review notes. High-severity Grammar, Terminology, Consistency, or Contextual evidence can still block use even when the weighted total is high. Below 65 recommends human retranslation; 65–89 requires human review; 90+ requires the listed corrections and approval.Glossary BuilderGlossaries do not receive an overall score. Confidence and termhood apply to each candidate term. Terms remain unapproved until a linguist, reviewer, or authorized workspace user accepts them.Style Guide CreatorStyle guides do not receive an overall score.
