Lingivo processes customer content only to provide requested workflows: document analysis, translation, LQA, glossary generation, style-guide creation, TM generation, project storage, billing, and support.
DATA PROCESSING
This page summarizes Lingivo’s intended data-processing commitments. A signed commercial DPA should be reviewed by counsel before production customer processing.
Lingivo processes customer content only to provide requested workflows: document analysis, translation, LQA, glossary generation, style-guide creation, TM generation, project storage, billing, and support.
Uploaded documents, extracted text, LQA outputs, style guides, glossaries, translation memories, project records, and file metadata remain customer-controlled content.
Production deployments should use HTTPS, organization-scoped access controls, role permissions, private file storage, signed URLs, upload validation, malware scanning, audit logs, and retention deletion.
Lingivo is designed for temporary file processing. Private uploaded files are retained only for the configured retention window unless a customer agreement requires a different setting. Admins can request organization data deletion through the app’s governance controls.
Live AI providers are governed through backend policy. Organizations may use Lingivo-managed provider keys or customer-owned provider policy where configured.
Current and planned subprocessors are listed on the Subprocessors page. Enterprise customers should review subprocessors before sending production confidential or regulated data.
